Classic smooth gourmand

There's a reason this is a gourmand classic. It may be boring, and gourmand isn't exactly my thing, but I still can't help it but be impressed by the quality. You should definitely give it try if you're into gourmands, as it's as good as it gets.

The scent is of a creamy, sweet pastry. It stays on for very long and has a decent projection, as many gourmands do. Despite being very strong, the scent is very realistic, not synthetic at all, and generally pleasant all around without any controversial notes. It doesn't have much going on, but that is exactly the point.

Due to a perceived simplicity, I believe it can be duped and similar fragrances exist elsewhere, as vanilla and gourmand notes specifically are extremely popular at the moment in all sorts of scented products. So maybe you'll find something similar for cheaper, but I'd recommend at least trying Escapade Gourmand if you have the chance. I'm not into food scents and got a sample as a gift, and I regret absolutely nothing. I definitely wouldn't wear it, but I can't help but respect the mastery that went into such a smooth, beautiful blend.
