Saturday morning chores of cleaning and washing etc. I just wanted something clean, fresh and calming. Of course I love this, it’s an ambroxan bomb. But there’s something that intrigues me a bit.. in perfumes with akigalawood that are perceived as masculine leaning (Blue Talisman, Bois Imperial) my nose loves it, but when it’s used heavily in feminine leaning perfumes like Guidance or Nomade, my nose finds it too overwhelming. Strange.

    That’s so interesting! I’ve been trying to find a scent my partner can enjoy for himself, but he finds a lot of scents he likes on me “sickly” on his skin. So interesting.

      It really is weird, and frustrating. For example, I think Guidance is a beautiful perfume, but within an hour of it being on my skin it makes me feel nauseous 😩

      Same exact feeling here! I love akigalawood in the air, and in more traditionally masculine profiles on my own skin, but in feminine-leaning stuff it ususally makes me feel nauseous after a while!
