Misty broadland morning

I really like this. It's green, in a damp and misty kind of way. There's a spice to it that's like riverside weeds crushed underfoot.

I live somewhere with fenland, heathland, and great flat expanses of water called The Broads. As you'd expect, we're prone to mists and fogs in spring and autumn. This perfume makes me think of being out near the broads on a misty morning, the light all diffused and pale gold, the water flat and shining. Some long abandoned windpump lurking on the banks. Soft, damp, cool, green, a little sad.
