Dewy Figs & Aquatic Florals

Fig & Lotus Flower was the perfume that truly began my fragrance journey many years ago. The scent that moved me away from more basic designer offerings and opened my olfactive third eye to how unique perfume can smell.

It opens dewy, aquatic, and floral, with only the faintest ghost of citrus. There's more bitterness than lemon here - a darker, greener shade of freshness that gives me a fleeting impression of lime.

It doesn't take long for the fragrance's namesake notes to appear. The fig is rendered in a way that avoids the usual sugary sweetness or jammy richness. Instead, it feels green and subtly lactonic, as if still hanging from the branch just metres above a serene pond dotted with lotus flowers.

As it develops, you begin to sense the dewy moisture of humid air, a gentle fruity sweetness, and the fresh aquatic plants lining the water's edge. The result is a scent that feels incredibly clean and uplifting, and to this day it still feels unlike anything else.
