Armani Prive Figuier Eden

Another beautiful scent from Armani Prive, Figuier Eden is like Thé Yulong's cousin with the focus on iris - to me, this is mainly an iris scent rather than a fig one.

Initially, I get the fresh, bitter citrus on top, and a lot of lipsticky iris with a small amount of powder. The tea and grass notes bring a fresh, vegetal quality. The idea of fig is in there somewhere, but isn't very prominent. To me, it has more of a green fig leaf at the open. The fruit comes out more in the mid/dry down - it is delicate and barely ripe, with a light floral sweetness.

A serene, spa-like scent. The only issue I have with this is that the projection and performance are abysmal on me. I prefer to keep a small scent bubble around me, just for myself, but I have to spray about 7 times just to get there (my average for other perfumes is 1-3 sprays tops). It's extremely light and fleeting, but it is beautiful.
