I discovered that I love peach as a note so I am exploring peach fragrances (cherry too). I find the IA version just ok.

My favourite peach scent is The Dangerous Peach by Alkemia, which is a sweet (but not too sweet) ripe peach, fuzzy skin and all. This peach is a lot less ripe and juicy in comparison, still a little hard. I also don’t love the way the melon is combining with the benzoin base note… somehow it’s giving cardboard a little bit, a note I also get from Goutal’s Petite Cherie.

I think this is fine, but I’m happy to keep The Dangerous Peach in my collection and pass on this one.

    I am also on the hunt for a peach! This one isn’t The One, but it’s nice. They always come off as syrupy or synthetic to me, though.

      Definitely try Alkemia’s The Dangerous Peach if you get a chance! I’m going to try Sorce’s A Sign Painted Peaches soon, looking forward to that.

      Elixir of Aphrodite is good too from Alkemia, kind of in the same family. It’s like a sweet, honey apricot, whereas Dangerous Peach is like a photorealistic peach. Unfortunately Aphrodite lasts two seconds on me despite being delicious, which is why I haven’t upgraded from my sample.

    I love a peach note. I would love The Body Shop to bring back Fuzzy Peach, it was peach heaven!
