A balance of earth and spice

Currently wearing this over Moments by Kair Quiet Rice Dry Oil (light and creamy sweet rice scent). There is earthy maté in the opening and early heart, but when drying down is mostly a paprika scent. I dig the spicy quality of it (it's still somehow fresh underneath the warmth), but want something more complex so I will have to try some layering scents (maybe ginger? stronger creamy scent? find a tuberose to bring out more floral?)(ooh or Oaxaca from Clandestine Laboratories?). I really need to smell the OG where I suspect there may be more interplay with the maté and tuberose.
