F'ou d'Absinthe

Fou d'Absinthe has become one of my favorite green fragrances. The name had me expecting something dark and boozy, but it's actually much better than that. Instead of focusing on absinthe, it captures the feeling of being deep in a cool pine forest.It's incredibly natural. I get fresh fir needles, damp woods, soft spices, and just enough resin to give it warmth. Everything feels smooth and well blended. It never smells like a pine candle or an air freshener. It just smells like the forest.What really makes this one special is how effortless it feels. It doesn't rely on sweetness or huge projection to stand out. It's quiet, refined, and the kind of scent you keep catching throughout the day. Every time I wear it, I appreciate it a little more.Performance is solid for this style. I get around 6 to 8 hours with moderate projection, which feels just right.If you like green, woody fragrances, I can't recommend this enough. It's one of those perfumes that creates a mood more than it makes a statement, and I think that's exactly what makes it so good. Easily one of L'Artisan Parfumeur's most underrated fragrances.
