A more bitter, earthier, greener version of Angel Dust?

A year or so ago I blind bought Angel Dust EDP after seeing a lot of content on TikTok about it. To me it smells like crystallized sugar and musk; I like it but don’t love it, and typically prefer wearing it to bed or in office on very cold winter months only. On a whim, I decided to try Angel Dust the Extrait after seeing recent content from creators that I trust who said they preferred the extrait over the EDP.

… I don’t get it at all. 😂

The extrait emphasizes everything I don’t like about the EDP. The musk is stronger, and reads bitter and earthy (in a bad way) to my nose. Like the very, very bitter green water leftover after boiling plain collards with no seasoning. This is definitely not for me!

    Haven’t tried the extrait but was so disappointed by the edp. Smelled like basically nothing with a strong hint of pepper. I truly don’t get the hype but good on those who can actually smell it lol

      Isn’t it funny how some people can’t smell ambroxen and others can? My nose definitely picks it up, but I’ve heard from many others who cannot! Same for iso e super (my nose selectively picks it up - sometimes I can, sometimes I can’t) and cetalox!
