Macy's sample box arrived!

And this is the one I've been waiting for! Smooth vanilla with a soft lavender and hint of maple. The lavender isn't sharp at all or even particularly herbal. It's a lightly fresh floral depth. It's not even overly heavy or syrupy, which is a problem I often have with gourmands.

Edit: unfortunately I had to wash it off after a couple hours. The smoothness was from coumarin, and it made me ill after a bit. :( Coumarin sensitivity sucks.
