Because I love durian notes

   I’ve been so curious about durian but haven’t had a chance to try a fragrance with it yet. Do you have any others you’d recommend?

      The "safest" durian scent I've tried is Durian by d.grayi. The opening gives you the 😳 moment of the strong durian smell, but it quickly morphs into something more like a durian milk tea that's very wearable. Miju created another scent with a durian note called Black Dog, but Black Dog was built around the inspiration of taking challenging notes like tuberose and oud and making them beautiful. I love it, but it's not a safe buy at all. A happy medium choice is Voyager Golden Hour, which has a durian note in the opening but it disappears as a sweet fruit enhancement to the mango sticky rice at the heart of the fragrance. Warning on that one: if you are looking for a hard core dessertlike mango sticky rice scent, Golden Hour is more a perfume interpretation (a GREAT interpretation) and not an exact dessertlike imitation.

   This honestly makes me curious because I love how durian tastes but its smell is very...pungent 😅
