Nowhere near as horrific as some of the reviews made it sound. I went in expecting sour milk, cheese and absolute chaos, but on me it opens with saffron and caramel, followed by a creamy condensed milk and Ambroxan feel. As it dries down, I get tonka, a slightly leathery edge and a soft touch of oud. It’s warm, creamy and a little unusual, but definitely not offensive. Is it groundbreaking? No. Is it going to win Fragrance of the Year? Probably not. But it’s actually a perfectly decent scent with good longevity and noticeable projection. Moral of the story: don’t let dramatic reviews scare you off, test it on your own skin first.
