A violet and iris love bomb that is sparkling in the sunshine today. Powdery yet fresh, filled with sweet pretty florals and berries yet smoulders with the boudoir sexiness of a vintage lipstick. I still have my rose bottle mini from 2008 when I first wore this and it’s been in my collection ever since. Unapologetic and fearless violet, beautiful, feminine. A familiar pleaser with the other half and kids.

    Seems like the perfect perfume for me to ask: what’s the different (for you personally) between iris and violet? I always thought I hated powdery scents, but Bal D’Afrique Absolu purports to have a violet note and I absolutely love that one!
