Quick test tonight

Another Macy's sample. Husband fell asleep early so I'm trying it on myself! I'm not super familiar with men's fragrances, and my husband's collection is mostly cheap random stuff he liked at Marshalls. So take this with a grain of salt (that's an accord in this btw)

Again, a strong coumarin not listed in the notes. The lavender is soft and backed by citrus and juniper that also isn't listed in the notes but is definitely in abundance in the ingredients list and scent itself, and sharpens it quite a bit. Palo santo isn't as present as I'd hoped. It's mostly hiding behind the coumarin. This has an almost soapy touch to it, but quite a dry texture. The mentioned "salt accord" dries it further but isn't super present either. Weirdly, none of the three listed notes are making much of an impact to my nose.

Overall, it's pleasant but unremarkable. My husband has held 18 different versions of this under my nose at Marshalls and ended up buying none of them. I've given it a fair shot on my arm for a while but it's bedtime and I don't really want to sleep with this. I'm washing it off.
