Ancient but Ever-Powerful

For a fragrance with only five notes, it does an incredible job of evoking deep feelings of something ancient and ineffable. The rose in the heart note is present even through the top note, but the oakmoss binds it from being too overbearing. It truly feels like being in an ancient forest in the dead of winter; the thorns of the Turkish rose weaving through vines, trying to grow and reach only to be slowed by the frost and snow icing up its foliage. The amber ever present in the base notes as the musks hint at something primal and unnameable. It makes me feel powerful and mysterious, like an Eldritch forest creature roaming the woods looking for something... or some/one/.
