Comparing this to Marwa

This opens up with a very sharp and cleaning like smell of lemon. The citron here is definetely prominent and personally I find a bit overwhelming when comparing this to something like Marwa.

The smell does settle down after a bit but is still punchy as heck and whilst ever slightly sweeter is still a very sharp citrus smell it’s not gentle it’s not rounded it’s just in your face.

Combine that with ginger and idk man something about citron and ginger has always just felt very wrong to me. Like I respect the idea I know some people love it but for me it’s always felt a bit weird and medicinal.

And honestly that’s kind of what it smells like to me like those lemon cough drops with a bit of ginger kick to them.

If you like lemon ginger cookies and don’t mind a bit of medicinal sharpness this is probably a good scent for you. Otherwise I’d advise trying a sample first.

I was hoping for something different here but this is one of the few fragrances I just genuinely can’t find anything to like about :/

Online people said this and Marwa are trying to be clones of Imagination but this is so completely different from Marwa. Whilst I haven’t smelled Imagination yet so I can’t compare to that it’s got none of the softness Marwa has nor a lot of the tea notes that Marwa has since there is so much citrus in this it just overwhelms the tea.

So yeah my quest continues. If you like sharp citrus smells this is probably worth checking out, otherwise may be worth passing on.
