What is there left to say?

Twenty years after its 2006 release, enough time has passed to admit it into the fragrance hall of fame. Terre d'Hermes has stood the test of time, and feels just as relevant now as ever. It launched multiple flankers, and all of those have met with success (aside from Tres Fraiche, perhaps) as well.

Terre d'Hermes EdT is as well balanced as a fragrance can be. It is crisp and clean, despite the heavy vetiver and flint influence. It doesn't fill a room, but it's present. It has good longevity but doesn't overstay it's welcome. It's at home in a boardroom or a brewery. It works in the winter and it works in the summer.

Terre d'Hermes has earned its ubiquity.

Terre d'Hermes certainly skews more "mature," but that doesn't mean there's no place for it in a young professional's arsenal. It's difficult to imagine a time where this won't hold a spot in my ever more curated collection.
