Rose misanthrope

The description of this fragrance promises us a rock'n'roll rose, attractive and rebellious. I'm not fully sure this is exactly what was achieved. It's a rose, zero qualms here. But it's a sort of a sour unpleasant rose one might find at the bottom of a trash bin, not in a luscious garden. This is definitely a grating scent, not a people pleaser at all. A full-on misanthropic rose instead.

The scent opens with a sour blackcurrant and a sharp soapy rose that slowly begins to dominate the fragrance along with a bitter leather. Patchouli pinches in in the end, making the scent a bit more herbal and adding to a stale putrid combination. This fragrance is pronounced enough to project and stay for hours, so if it's your first time trying it, being cautious with sprays is a must.

This is not a nice scent by any means, but I guess that's exactly the point. It can sort of grow on you after a while, I must admit. Maybe sometimes you don't want to smell good, you want to be trashy, unpleasant, and revolting. As I said before, I dislike this perfume a lot. But I also respect how blatantly unappealing it is.
