Idole EDT

I am a huge Idole fan and have smelled almost all of the flankers and own quite a few, so getting the chance to get my nose on the EDT was exciting!

This has a lovely, prominent green tea note for the first 1.5 hours along with the brightness of bergamot, and after that, it becomes the same scent as the EDP - a sweet, fresh, mildly soapy rose that is easy to wear and easy to love. The added tea in the EDT gives it a wonderfully refreshing quality - as a tea lover, I adore it! It is very sweet and vanillic up close, but in the air, it loses some of the sweetness, and I get a more balanced scent of rose petals, rose water, crisp green tea, and a hint of musk and woods.

I wore this on a very humid day, and it had moderate projection for about 4 hours, but I was still getting whiffs 6 hours in, and it lasted on skin for 8-10 hours. Very impressive for an EDT, though every perfume in the Idole line seems to wear well on me.

Really enjoyed this one today and got a very nice compliment from a coworker who loved it, and said it was "not too much and not too little!" I think this is an easy reach, a pretty signature scent, and great for the office. It gives the image of someone who is pretty, charming, and elegant! This is the kind of scent that I think is a crowd pleaser. It would be great on a daytime date as well, since it is romantic. One of my new favorites to wear to work in the spring and summer. 9.5/10 rating for me.
