It's absolutely not a 1 to 1 clone though. It feels like it's missing the creaminess of the sandalwood from the original.
I will say since it's been sitting for 4 months, it's definitely closer, and feels like that sandalwood is slowly gaining strength. Just now sniffing after it's been sitting I am getting more of it. Is it irritating having to wait for it to get to a similar level of greatness that musk therapy is at? Yeah, a little. However, you are saving SEVERAL hundred dollars. Honestly, I got a decant of the og to tide me over, and after taking a lil sniffy poo just now....I might be OK with it. It's literally on my mercari waiting to be sold but uhhh....I might be keeping it? It's a lovely not synthetic musk, with fruitiness on the top and now apparently a creamy sandalwood at drydown. So yeah, it's fucking good.
