Herbal, Green, Vetiver & Mate

This is my first time trying anything from Akro. I see them mentioned a lot, but for whatever reason, nothing’s jumped out at me as something I needed to try. I was given a sample of Infuse during a recent trip to Scent Bar, so today I’m checking it out.

The experience of Infuse on paper is much different than on my skin. The herbal, green notes and bergamot really project on skin, while they’re a bit more subdued on paper. I’m not mad at it, but I wasn’t expecting that opening to scream as loud as it did.

After 10-15 minutes, those loud top notes begin to settle and the ambrox and vetiver are already there offering you mate and oolong.

While I think (to the right person) this would be lovely in the spring, I’m interested in how this will feel in the depths of autumn.

The longer I wear this, the less I like it. This one just isn’t for me, but if you enjoy your tea fragrances super green, give this a try.
