Infusion d'Iris opens with a gorgeous, bright citrus note blended with a creamy, powdery iris with a little bit of that makeup bag scent. The citrus gradually fades over time, but remains softly in the background. The cedar and benzoin really start appearing around hour 4, and it turns into more of a warm, woody scent, mixing with the ever present iris for a comforting finish.
Longevity is average. At best, I probably could get 6 hours out of this. It is not a particularly strong projector and is more a scent to wear for one's own enjoyment. Projection lasts for about 3 hours.
I really enjoy this one. It's invigorating, grounding, and appropriate for many occasions. A classic for iris lovers.
