My 10/10 Perfection in a Fragrance

If I could only own one bottle of perfume, this would be it. Love this so much. This is the best iris perfume I’ve ever smelled, as a lover of iris (and yes, I’ve tested my serious iris contenders wrist-to-wrist; Iris Torrefie comes out on top every time, even over Guerlain’s pricier Iris Pallida. For me the coffee, iris, and leafhery almost-sandalwood here stand out the most, other notes help balance and blend and just add to the bouquet. But it’s not a “standing in your garden” kind of iris. For me, when I wear this perfume I feel like my aspirational best self—it’s the perfume for the woman I want to become, and strive to be. Lovely for evenings out, days when I want to shore up confidence, or when I’m embarking on something new. This is the perfume I’d reach for to attend a symphony concert or to present a PowerPoint to hundreds of people, or to just feel like “yes, I CAN do this” while embarking on a project. Or a first date. While not specifically sexy or unsexy, it’s grounding. Something for ME, something definitively gorgeous, made to be worn, and great with my body chemistry.
