Roja Isola Snow and Elysium Pour Homme

Isola Snow is very interesting. I wasn't the biggest fan at first but I have to take back my first impression as it has really grown on me. I love the mint mixed with a lot of other tart notes like bergamot and pear. It smells very aldehylic, like the opening of MFK's 724. Under the top notes though, it's sweet and creamy. It feels a bit like two different perfumes mixed together, but it just works. It's a little marine, faintly floral, barely sweet, and very tart. I imagine it is how a lemon gelato sprinkled with sea salt would smell. Honestly addictive and maybe the ending to my quest to find the most refreshing perfume for the summer. 9.5/10

Elysium Pour Homme EDP - I actually ordered Elysium Pour Femme since I love the Parfum (and not the price lol), so I wanted to see how the EDP compared. I was sent the one for men instead. And actually, I am NOT mad. It's *really* good. Woody, menthol minty, lots of herbs, and citrus that isn't sharp but just brings a brightness to the whole thing. Incredibly well blended. I can't stop sniffing it, so I'm giving the decant to my husband for further testing 🧐 Absolutely delicious! 9/10
