Watery chypre! This is the only perfume I own with carnation in its notes, and comes through on my skin for sure. I need to sit with it for longer, but first impression: "Why the discontinuation!?" Could smell it on my skin the next day. The scent is strong with this one!

It's not very sweet and settles neatly into clean girl territory to my nose/ on my skin, which was interesting to me, since I've come to associate chypres with a sort of skankiness? It's definitely warm spicy, but departs from, say, Shalimar or Chanel no.5 in terms of atomic projection, sillage and longevity (I cannot enjoy food when wearing Chanel, barely so with Shalimar—they invade my nose when I'm trying to enjoy tastes/ smells other than what I put on my arm).

But I'm *relatively* new to perfumery and being obsessed with it, and this beautiful mini snowglobe was worth the $50 splurge on a discontinued mini imo❤️I might hunt for a full size!

    I have always wanted this perfume if only for the aesthetic alone, I’ve never tried it! JGP perfumes don’t work well with my skin 😢

      Well, this one was made by Francis Kurkdjian and does not contain the sweetness and powderiness that I associate with JPG...if it wasn't discontinued, I'd recommend trying it because it's different than every other JPG I own (La Belle EDP, La Belle Le Parfum, Scandal). It is a rose-centered perfume that is a balanced level of spicy and considerably less sweet than everything else I've tried from JPG❤️

      More for us then! I want to get the caramel bear perfume next, but I'm spoiled by all these perfumes I've recently tried that contain better ingredients (would abs be buying for the bottle, I won't even lie😆)

      It's a dabber! The end of the video shows the bottom, and you remove the circle in the middle of the base to reveal a small circular opening that the juice comes out of! It's not the greatest bottle design for a dabber, but it works for me (I remove the circle and leak some of the juice out by tipping the bottle a bit, then replace the circle stopper and dab the bottom of the bottle wherever I want the scent)

      Watery meaning it reminds me of the taste I associate with drinking cool water! It's not "aquatic" at all, in case that's what it seemed like I meant🙏🏾sorry for any confusion! This chypre is slightly "fresh" on my skin, but I'm convinced the tuberose, carnation, and musk combine in this fragrance to give me that scent I associate with water fresh out the tap.
