The only way to discuss this fragrance is to begin with a quote from one of the finest works in cinematic history:

John Varvatos’ Oud is spicy. It opens spicy and it stays spicy until closing time. Cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper, cardamom, cloves, and saffron. Oud is also resinous, smoky, woody - and beautiful. The oud, spices, incense, resins, and cedar are all complimented by the addition of rose, jasmine, and osmanthus.

Overall, Oud has a lot going on, but it all works well together. If ANY of this resonates with you, I think you’ll enjoy it, but if you’re saying “eh, I don’t know” maybe just keep moving.

      I really love Dark Rebel Rider (RIP, I’m savoring what’s left of my last bottle) and Oud. I’ve tried a few others and they were okay, but I love these two.
