Out of my entire collection and everything I've ever sampled, this is probably the single most opulent, regal fragrance I've experienced to date. An absolute masterpiece! If you check other online spaces, this is a cold weather fragrance, but I'm telling you- summer is the best time for it! The oils need heat for this to really shine.
The opening has the single most beautiful fruit note on the planet. Dark, jammy, juicy, vibrant blackberry sitting on incredibly complex, slightly sweet resins. This blackberry continues for a good amount of time. After that, the resins take center stage, along with a slight smokiness from the oud, creating an unbelievably deep, complex, glorious Middle Eastern incense blend.
I don't reach for this often, but when I do, it's always an incredible experience!
