Jubilation XXV is one of those rare fragrances where words don't do it justice. As cliché as it sounds, it feels truly golden, as if pure white light were shining through the finest natural materials, forming a fragrance that shimmers and sparkles like jewels in the air. It's not a big projector, but lasts over 12 hours on my skin, occasionally catching the air and reminding me it's still there.

    I love JXXV too, have you tried J40? I'm looking forward to get a decant of it

      I have yeah, but perhaps the 1ml sample was not enough to truly get to know it. I found it heavier and more damp smelling than XXV. It seemed to stay much closer to the skin too. I adore the airiness of XXV, whilst still feeling rich and opulent. I found 40 lost some of that

      Yeah, the dampness turned me off a little too. I get it, a higher concentration of patchouli, but perhaps overdone slightly. I remember it settling into a very similar scent after a couple hours, but like a less ethereal version. 100% worth sampling though. I certainly want to give it another go.
