I own this and Pear Potion, and where Pear Potion is a sort of straightforward, linear fruits-and-caramel scent, this is complicated and weird. But like, good weird - I think.
There are a LOT of notes in it, so I imagine to some people it will smell like a mess, but I quite like it, it’s complex and there’s a mossy note in the heart that even makes it lean slightly witchy.
I genuinely hated this when I first sampled it on the day it arrived, but I tried it again the very next day and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I don’t know what that says.
It’s probably not going to be my favourite anytime soon, but I do think it will get regular use in my rotation.
