Mixed feelings

I brought this for my bf. I smelled it in the store a few times and thought he would like it (he does-im glad), but I am having some mixed feelings about it. I think the notes for this parfume are a little off, I cant explain it, but the parfume mixes all its notes so much to the point you cant really tell them apart. I feel like I have a good sense of smell, but Idk man. On the box it says Lemon, Fig(or lavander), Cedar. Citrus notes are almost non existant, because of the sudden spice your hit with. This parfume gives me BIG headache. It is sooooooo strong. I cant believe theyve made an intense version of this, oh my god. Ok so, citrus is very overpowered with spice, not warm, but spicy spice like pepper, chilli idk, after that you get lots of deep and complex notes, but i think you can still get some fig trough. The headache is still here by that point, but maybe after 1-2h it gets less intense, and youre left with a softer cedar and vetiver scent thats actually okay. THIS IS MY REVIEW. But since my boyfriend is wearing it and he is saying that its really good, i have to give it something more then a meh. So yeah, If you like really intense spicy parfume thats not that pricey, this might be for you. Oh btw, it leaves a trail for maybe 30 min.
