La Peau Nue is a sparkling, lively, unique take on a skin scent. It is like the more fun cousin of Diptyque's L'Eau Papier, with added bergamot for brightness. It is powdery and smooth from the orris root, a little starchy from the rice, and slightly floral from the rose. Though this doesn't read as a rose perfume to me, the rose is definitely there. It also is a bit aldehylic to me - effervescent and a touch soapy. A very nice, clean smelling scent that is still interesting to the nose. This isn't a cozy skin scent, but more of a fresh one that gives me energy to go about my day.
The projection is quiet to moderate on this one. It projects off skin for about 2-3 hours and lasts on my skin for around 10 hours.
So lovely, sparkling and clean. It is a breath of fresh air, like blowing bubbles outside in the late spring sunshine. Very nice when you want something to give you an extra boost. I give it an 8.5/10.
