La Vie et Belle Rose Extraordinaire was one of the first rose forward perfumes I tried. It lives up to its name; jammy sugary rose, a bit of green tartness and plush, pronounced musk and iris. The base has what seems like Chypre adjacent structure but it definitely isn't one.
I find it to be interesting and different from the other rose perfumes I've since bought. Not a favorite, but a strong like and it's my favorite from the LVEB line. It's a good elevated budget choice for a rose perfume since it goes on sale at Lancome frequently.
