A really pleasant surprise on skin

This is one of those fragrances that comes alive on skin in a way it just won’t on paper or sprayed in the air, for me. There’s something about the interplay of pink pepper with the heliotrope maybe, or the vetiver, that almost says wintergreen… but not in a dentist’s mouthwash kind of way. I was sort of expecting a boring vanilla but it’s really not, and it layers beautifully with ginger perfumes.
