Clean/Dirty=Clirty; a Clirty Floral

Sorry I am fried this morning I didn’t sleep well that’s an insane title.

I put on a nice smattering of the EDC (big bottle) and hopped into my car and went to work. I could smell an itty bit of aldehydes, rich lily, and deep mossy woodsy notes. I love this because it doesn’t wear like a watered down version it has the same depth and character, it just is less concentrated— wait that’s watered down. Ok but it’s good and the price!!!!!!!! The EDC lasts about 4hrs which is amazing for summer.

I like to refresh my extraits/parfums with the EDC/EDT/EDP of the fragrance so I don’t use as much of the super-juice. Anyways:

The layer of Parfum on top of the EDC smells:

Top: sparkle of aldehydes and a squeaky clean quality that is immediately met with a dark, broody lily.

Heart: I love Lilial that’s all I have to say. The jasmine and ylang-ylang are pronounced as well.

Base: I don’t know how to describe Arpege’s base— you have to smell it. Any concentration up until 2003 will have it, in the original version. It’s dark, not earthy, not bitter, mossy, resinous, and forest-y! Not unlike the base of Vol de Nuit but even darker :0 (and less bitter)
