This is very strange perfume. Very niche quality. If Matiere Premiere would bottle it and call it Cashmere Noir people would go crazy about this frangrance.

I am very much into Cashmeran and it does not dupe anything. It is not for everyone. You really need to like strange perfumes. Molecules. And an unusual things in frangrance. It does smell like damp basement with some old moist wood, maybe pencil shavings.

This is not an easy gourmand you used to while buying Lattafa. And def not a safe blind buy. Stunning weird not so Arabic high quality perfume. Made by master perfumer.

    Great review! Your description of this reminds me of how Not A Perfume Superdose makes me feel😆 the "damp basement with old moist wood" description is still intriguing (I want to now see if it reminds me at all of "old growth" forests minus the ozonic+aromatic qualities a truly foresty scent would have (some of my best memories are hikes through old growth; Yosemite specifically❤️). I also want to try more of this perfumer's work now! They made The Show Magnifique (which honestly looks like another YBM dupe, but I love that scent DNA to pieces and now have FOMO this perfumer's work lol). Edit to say my fave description for Superdose is "smells like if butt sweat were fractals"🧡
