Pretty but Safe

There's nothing wrong with this fragrance, it's a lovely vanilla and wood forward fragrance with some florals in the middle. There's also nothing particularly memorable. I put it on and went "oh that's nice", but it didn't leave a strong impression one way or the other, it's just kind of there. I don't get the fruity top notes at all, the florals are subtle as well. More than anything I get vanilla, tonka, and oud.

If I bought this as a sample and it was more expensive then I wouldn't invest in a full bottle, but having gotten it for $30 (and even at full retail it's only $50) I don't regret the purchase. Especially because, in all honesty, I bought this fragrance first and foremost for the bottle. It's GORGEOUS, I love the tree motif, the textured tree on the front, and the little tree topper lid; for me it's worth the price just as a decoration piece.
