I smelled this in stores several times and despite the mixed to slightly negative online impressions, I thought it seemed excellent! Got a sample and today is my first full wear. This stuff is absolutely fantastic. The rhubarb note is incredible and the rose/vetiver underneath compliment it PERFECTLY! Feels crazy to spend this much on a Diptyque, but I'm genuinely considering it...

    I feel you on this one. I'm confused by the mixed reception. I feel the same about Rose Roche as well. But yeah...spendy as hell.

      I've heard it's an anti-Quentin Bisch campaign by people who haven't actually smelled it and just think he doesn't "belong" making things for Diptyque, but I have no idea, honestly lol

      Right?! Basically, it's that some people believe that Bisch fragrances are "loud" "generic" "synthetic" and all smell the same. It's a silly take, but I hear it by other Amouage fans constantly 😂
