This has happened to me too! 😂 I’ve had fragrances I was convinced I didn’t like, then tried them again later and suddenly wondered what I was smelling the first time. It’s crazy how much a scent can change depending on the day, your skin, or even your mood.

It's also a decant of a vintage, which is way more volatile than any off the shelf full bottle perfume. I don't exactly love this perfume still, but at least now I don't think I was scammed.

Definitely a thing. Sometimes you need to get some fresh air into the bottle and let it sit to revitalize the aroma chemicals. Changes the smell completely and performance even.

I guess that's what it is. The first time, it randomly started smelling noxious two hours in, so I begrudgingly removed it. Now, at least, it smells like the listed notes.

But I don't see a point in adding a discounted perfume with no known notes or perfumer, by a brand that's not a perfume brand. So it's hiding behind another vintage baddie 🙂

It's a decant from a 20 years old vintage bottle, so it's definitely not as boozy as described. But the chypre-gourmand notes are still blasting. The hype for this perfume is so much justified!
