Wearing Le Jardin de Lilas by Maison IV Saisons

I didn't read the notes before trying, so I was anticipating this to be a typical garden floral lilac in the vein of Lilac Path. Not so at all. This is an interesting warmly spiced and powdery coconut with lilac, despite not having lilac as a note. Maybe my mind is filling in what it wants to smell given the name. I have Lilac Brûlée and Fée du Lilas, which are more alike than similar to this. I haven't really smelled anything like it. It starts out with powdery coconut and lilac(?), fading as it dries down. The tart blackcurrant bud and other florals (predominantly rose) appear, overtaking the other notes. I'm not a fan of blackcurrant or rose, so this is less pleasant/interesting. A stronger honeysuckle would be more striking and with better balance. The soft woody base is present throughout. Longevity and projection are moderate, about what I'd expect from the note structure.
