The Final Boss

We are at the Final Boss of all dark Incense-Amber scents. Le Lion is a shocking composition, shocking because is able to take everything you know about fragrances and throw them out of the window and give you a new way of thinking. If I were placing my nose on this years back i was probably running away, thinking someone lit a napalm molotov and was ready to throw it at me. While being a bit more mature, you can slowly figure out why it was done in this way. Man, is a scary composition, the opening is so unplesant, metallic to me, is combined with a lemonish bitter/sweet little touch and is literally roaring at you, I ask himself why?, well i guess the mastery is taking something so insanely "unpleasant" to a normal human being nose and transform it into a trascedent Mistyc dark Incensy altar of some sort, a moody place where spirits are watching you.

The darkness is surrounded by very small amber-colored lights, whispering around in a mist of fog. Is incensy and smoky, but it takes its own time to develop, i can't pinpoint anything; all i can say is that all of these things that i wrote are leading to a final room.This final room is an elevated inciensy and woody smell, that is dark, but isn't just dark, imagine a resin color substance that is pulsating from the inside as if was gelatin Lava, wich is probably the Amber, here there is a crazy contrast with the lemon notes that keep pulsating, i call them lemonish, but they are probably all given by the Patchuli. There is a very "animalic" thing going on, but i am sure this isn't anything actually animalic, it's probably a Labdanum atonal note that was placed there to make the scent unique. Well, it worked because these very dark notes are all over the place, and keep going back and forth, which is the essence of Le Lion. I think this is a timeless composition created for people who know and are ready to dare; it's so cool.

Sometimes, for a fraction of a second becomes like a lemonish looking pice of amber sitting on some old and wet ash, then it goes back instantly to the incense's main core. I love how this was released on Chanel's main line - i am the last guy that would buy anything from Chanel, imagine the main expensive side, but hey, here we are Coco, This could be easily made by Pris and i would have loved it in the same exact way.You reached the end. A beast shaman is doing his own ceremonial acts somewhere in a dark jungle, controlling the fate of the world, surrounded by weird plants and animals. I would like to talk to Olivier one day and listen to the entire story of how this insane thing came to his mind.

Notes: In cold weather, it cuts through the air and creates a very unique trail; the scent is so elevated that at each wave, you get a facet of the composition.
