Chloe Le Nectar

Chloe is a house that I have gotten into this year. I avoided it when it first came out but I bought a decant this year and there has been no looking back. So I was beyond excited when I saw a new release!

There is a warmed brightness opening thanks to the bergamot, orange, and neroli. Then it goes vintage to my nose. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but more a descriptor. This just doesn’t read as a modern scent to me. I don’t pick up the rose. However, I do detect the woody patchouli which is what I think I am reading as “vintage”.

I just impressed myself because this scent does fall into the “neo-vintage” category so my take on the scent is actually pretty accurate.

Like with Valentino Donna, I picture someone on the upper east side wearing this as they shop along Madison Avenue.

I don’t see this as a safe blind buy unless you know that you like woody pathcouli resinous scents.
