Sophisticated skin musk

Eau de Lingerie by Guerlain is a powdery rose/iris musk that dries down into a sensual musk—barely there. I love it. I wanted to find something similar to it but without the “clean skin” scent (right out of the shower) vibe I get from this. I wanted it to be more cashmere sweater than silky robe. Enter: Le Point G. Dumb name. C’mon. But looking past that, this perfume hits many of the marks I wanted. It’s also a rose/iris dominant perfume. Whereas Eau de Lingerie leans more iris, this leans more rose. And that makes it more cashmere than silk. It’s powdery, warm, inviting and dries to a very pretty musk. Comforting for bedtime. I can see this being worn all year long. Good for work. But it is pricy for what it offers: a close-wearing sensual musk.
