L'eau A la Rose

L'eau A la Rose is a light, fresh rose scent with delicate, refreshing peony, subtle musks, and splashes of juicy fruit. It smells like the color light pink. MFK does a great rose note - almost like smelling fresh roses in the garden. The peony is crisp and light, and the musks are clean and gentle. All the notes are very natural smelling, and the perfume is not overly sweet. It reminds me a bit of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet in the sense that it's a cool, pink floral with no vanilla, though here it is rose-centric with peony in the backdrop.

The dry down is more rose than anything as the other notes fade away. The rose always stays fresh - it never turns dusty as some rose perfumes do.

Projection is moderate for 3-4 hours, and oddly enough (though a pleasant surprise), the scent lingers on my skin for almost 12 hours.

This is a great pick for spring and summer. Fairly straightforward, so not too much to say, but it is pleasant and well executed. Definitely feminine leaning - very pretty and girly. I give it an 8/10.
