If I were scoring this strictly on what I smell, it would be 1 star—but I know I must be anosmic to most of it, because there’s just no way so many people love this scent if they smell what I do.

For me, I get a faint whiff of something vaguely savory and a little bit spicy somehow. If I cooked stir-fry yesterday and then put the same shirt on today, this is what it would smell like. Within 5 minutes that’s gone and I smell nothing except a verrrry faint sourness. Needless to say, this one was NOT a winner for me.

I wish I could smell it properly, because everyone’s descriptions of it sound so lovely—but I thought I’d review it as a caveat for those considering blind buying!

    I have a few scents i feel that way about and it’s so frustrating and disappointing (leau papier is not one of them, I smell it and love it)

    The fact that we can smell the same perfumes so differently is really fascinating to me. So sorry it seems you don’t get the sweet and gentle mimosa flowers.
