D&G L'Imperatrice Royale

I'm working in close proximity with someone else today so I picked this as an inoffensive scent.

This is a mostly sweet, slightly tart, juicy cranberry with a prominent cedar note. The cedar is woody and a bit camphorous, which is a nice foil to the fruit. To be honest, I am not sure what azalea smells like, but I do get a slightly soapy pink floral in this as well. I do not think this smells like the original at all, but I like it very much.

Projection is middling, so this won't bother anyone unless you overspray, and it lasts quite well in the heat, especially on clothes. I can usually get almost a full 8-9 hours with this one, though it is on its last legs by the time I'm driving home.

Overall, a very pleasant and energizing fruity floral that is a pretty safe pick when you're around others. It works well in very hot weather, and also around the holidays because the cranberry note is quite festive! It is not complicated but it works. 8/10
