Somehow fresh and slightly sour

Admittedly, I'm not the biggest fan of rose. While I wouldn't necessarily classify this as a rose fragrance, it is present enough to notice and doesn't seem to work with my skin chemistry. A fresh rose, almost green. The suede, listed as suederal, is very light so as to be nearly unidentifiable. There is a subtle spiciness that I don't particularly enjoy, the musk I think. Not animalic enough to be sexy, not fresh enough to be clean. The Anatomy of Dreams line has largely been a wash for me, but I don't like much from Valentino either. I can't envision why someone would choose this over other rose/ambrette scents. The suede could have made this interesting.
