Playing around with home brewed iso E super and ambroxan

   I've tried 7 Cobalt with an offbrand ambroxan EDP (not sure the concentration) and loved it. What do you think of it with Iso E Super?

      It’s real nice man I am going to assume the cobalt has both these molecules in the fragrance because it seems to just amp them up a bit rather than change it

      Yeah it’s been fun, the iso e super mix I made is a lot!! Stronger than 01 as I think 01 from memory is 20% and what I made is 29% (it’s also so cheap to do). The I love the smell of ambroxan layered with other fragrances. Today I did one spray on each arm of E super and 2 of the ambroxan then 6 sprays of cobalt 7, it smells incredible

      Wow! As a M01 stan, I’ve been told to just buy Iso E Super, bought a cheapie (it was The Scent Library or something like that) and it was rank. Although it made me appreciate how some people just get pencil shavings. A month later and it had matured into a dusty varnished wood stank. That was my days of amateur experimentation over lol.

      Oh really I near bought it from them but worked out for it to be that much cheaper to make it, iso E Super is like £8 for 100ml then perfumers alcohol is £15 for 100ml (I found it cheaper now £27 for 1L)
