Another sample from the discovery set. I’m late to the party with this one also. Very sweet and feminine floral gourmand. Opens very reminiscent of Prada Paradoxe, but LDBS was created 15 years before Paradoxe, so I realise where Prada’s team took their inspiration from. But where Paradoxe stays quite bright, LDBS is more gentle and elegant and dries down to a beautiful ambery musk mallow with a tickle of spiciness from the honey suckle with the neroli and orange blossom still prominent dancing with a subtle rose . Really lovely perfume. If you like sweet gourmands, I imagine you would love this, if not, you might find the sweetness overwhelming and that LDBS is not for you.
