Spicy, a bit citrusy, smooth with amber and tonka.

I sprayed this and was immediately reminded of Ex Nihilo Speed Legends Night Drive.

Looking at the notes, they have a lot of overlap and are both by Jordi Fernandez, so this makes sense.

I think I prefer Night Drive, though. I really like the herbal sage note in that. Lucius is all spices and could use an herbal note to round it out. I’m also getting a bit of licorice in Lucius that I’m not a huge fan of.

I still need to try the OG Speed Legends as well, which I do have a sample of. So many samples…

    The OG was nice when I tried it, but I'm not sure if it was nice enough for me to pay full retail. That being said, I'm really interested in Lucius Maximus since hearing some people say that it smells like a better version of Gris Charnel Extrait...

      I have a sample of Gris Charnel Extrait I haven’t tried yet as well. I remember the EdP being just ok.

      It’s more of a cold weather tea fragrance, right? For tea, I have Wulong Cha and Neroli Outrenoir.
