I got to get my nose on this for the first time this week thanks to a fab perfume friend and OH MYYYY! It opens with a bright, wet and dewy rockrose that just illuminates of my skin. As my skin warms the gentle pepper and incense excites my nose and is just dreamy! Fresh yet spicy and resinous and an absolute love at first whiff for me.
There is something about this that I’m struggling to describe. It’s a first proper wear, so I’ll come back and update this review when I’ve spent more time with it. The word that comes to mind is clarity. Not clean, clarity. It reminds me of the opening of another love of mine, Liquid Love. Yet it is softened with a sweet, resinous peppery, spicy sillage. I can understand the inspiration for the name, of the light of a full moon dancing on the water on a clear sky night, where there’s no light pollution.
